Cross-generational friendly fire. The JK owner was probably trying to compare greens.
See how much better tan and green work than black and green? More tan tops please.

My wife’s Liberty has been hit from behind twice due to dumbasses not paying attention. Both cars that hit her had their hoods & radiators messed up by the Jeep’s spare. No damage to her car either time.

probably due to crumple zones. I think think they have them in the rear. When I was rear end ed my Allroad got a few scratches which the Sentra that hit me bent in half and puked its fluids all over the highway

Got to be honest, wranglers are a plague now.

If only the one on the left had been lifted, the bumpers might have hit squarely and done their jobs. Or I guess if the one on the right didn’t have a lift, but that’s a lot to ask for a Wrangler.

Lets hope the insurance sorts it quickly and avoids a lengthy legal Wrangle'r.

That’s what you get for putting Rockstars on a Jeep (or anything).
Shame about the gentleman in front though.

In high school I had a TJ in that color and trim level , with a tan soft top (more tan tops for real ). Seeing the picture reminded me of a time one of my buddies thought it’d be funny to tap my tire with his 2nd generation Explorer while sitting at a red light. Might have spilled my soft drink, but he got himself a new custom hood design in the shape of a 30 inch Goodyear . Those old Wranglers were solid.

You ever find a Jeep? Look at this POS that popped up about an hour and 45 minutes away from me.

For most cars, the front will crumple really easily both to limit damage for occupants but also to help deform and prepare to deflect or catch the drivetrain. Depending on how you engineer it, it might do different things but you do need to account for the fact that the front of the car always has a couple hundred pounds of steel and aluminum handling explosions while the back trunk is usually empty by comparison.

Pretty sure I’ve seen that during my searches. I should look to see whether maybe it’d be useful as a parts Jeep for my... oops, haven’t made an announcement yet hang tight.

That’s what you get for putting Rockstar wheels on your Jeep

You’re the second person to make that comment. Remember, I never pay attention to wheels, so what’s the story on Rockstar?

I have an irrational fear of colliding with a vehicle that is the same model and color as mine.

At least the paint transfer won’t be an issue. Lol.
For me, my fear, both rational and irrational is colliding with any car, any colour.

It’s one of the go-to wheels for the Brodozer crowd. It’s like the Monster Energy of aftermarket wheels.

I had steel bumpers in my JK. Had a Yaris rear end me. Jeep barely moved, Yaris was totalled. My wife thought someone hit me and I thought it was just the brakes groaning a bit from dirt as I was lifting off to pull into traffic.
I also had a Dodge Caravan rear end me. Same thing to my Jeep, her van fared better than the car. But not by much.

It’s just one model in the XD brand line up. EVERY single wheel they make is ugly, tacky , Dude-bro trash. The Rockstar was the first one that got popular, I have no idea why as I’ve always thought it was hideous

Bumper heights actually look pretty close, looks like the front end dove under heavy breaking enough that it was pushed under the back bumper of the other.
